Detour Update July 29 for Old Enfield Road

Received notice today the detour will stay in place until week of August 17.
Update:
There is a significant amount of work remaining, including subgrade construction, gravel subbase placement, asphalt paving, and guardrail installation, all of which must be completed to safely reopen Old Enfield Road as shown on the attached drawing.
As the subgrade work is weather dependent, we will sequence the work to minimize delays caused by rain. As each section of subgrade is completed and approved, we will place the gravel subbase. Asphalt paving is scheduled for August 14th, followed by guardrail installation. Once these activities are complete, we anticipate reopening Old Enfield Road to traffic by August 17th.
Under this plan, the triangle will be gone and the stop sign on the Old Enfield Road would be in place.
