Which Walls Still Need to Fall?

FINAL REMINDER: Three minutes could take an idea from Atlantic Canada to Berlin

Research leaders:

Please forward this opportunity to the students, researchers, and early-career professionals in your network. Your recommendation or a simple forwarded email could connect someone with an opportunity that helps launch the next stage of their career.

Students, researchers, and early-career professionals:

If you have a breakthrough idea, this is your moment.

Every breakthrough begins with someone asking a simple question: Which walls still need to fall?

• Perhaps it’s a scientific challenge.

• A healthcare problem.

• A climate solution.

• A new technology.

• A business model.

• Or an idea that could improve lives in ways we haven’t yet imagined.

If you’ve been developing an idea that deserves a wider audience, we encourage you to apply to Falling Walls Lab Atlantic Canada 2026.

Hosted by Research Nova Scotia and supported by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), Falling Walls Lab brings together emerging innovators from every discipline to present breakthrough ideas in just three minutes.

The Atlantic Canada winner will travel to Berlin this November to compete on the global stage at the Falling Walls Lab Finale alongside innovators from around the world.
